Sophie is Executive Assistant to the Northside Team Leader Melinda Nizeti, and brings considerable experience and enthusiasm to her role.

Born in New Zealand, she grew up in the world famous tourist mecca of Rotorua and graduated in 2006 from Rotorua Girls’ High School, one of the country’s leading girls’ schools.

Her real estate career began in early 2007, with a reception role at the largest real estate office in Rotorua, McDowell Real Estate. Here she gained valuable experience in aspects of both sales and property management, while dealing with clients from all walks of life. With over 45 staff, Sophie quickly learned just how fast-paced the real estate industry is and she thrived in the busy environment.

Wishing to broaden her horizons, Sophie immigrated to Australia in August 2008, choosing to settle in Brisbane because of its fantastic climate and relaxed lifestyle. She joined the Ray White Aspley Group’s property management team soon after her arrival in the country and has been with the company almost continuously since then, in a variety of roles at their Aspley, Taigum and Springwood offices.

Coming from a family of sporting enthusiasts, Sophie takes her love of sport to the Gabba and Suncorp Stadium as a cricket and football fanatic. Her artistic nature has seen her enter several competitions and she has a particular interest in graphic design. 2012 saw one of Sophie’s webpage designs being one of four chosen from many entries worldwide to be featured on the Twitter page for well-known comedian Chris Lilley, of We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High fame.

During her time with Ray White she has built on her experience with real estate, gaining a more in-depth knowledge of property management in Queensland, and its regulations.

Customer service has always been her priority and she ensures that all enquiries she receives from lessors and tenants are dealt with promptly and courteously.

Sophie became a mother in July 2013 with the birth of her daughter Kenna and has settled into the role of working mum with ease. Her future ambition is to gain her full REIQ licence and one day, operate her own specialist property management business.
